SHINIREMONT Open Joint Stock Company (OJSC) is the largest in the Republic of Belarus enterprise in remolding and repair of truck tires, produced both locally and abroad. It is located on Belarusrezinotekhnica OJSC premises and occupies an area of 2.14 ha.
Tires remolding workshop is engaged in retreading of worn-out tires, and is capable of restoring a wide range of diagonal and radial design tires with after- retreading- life over 60% against new ones. Cold vulcanization method allows to prolong after-repair life up to 90-100% of new tires life.
The problem of worn-out tires use and waste processing is of great economic and ecological significance for the Republic of Belarus, as it allows to involve into production polluting materials.
With shortage of raw materials and material resources tires remoulding allows to save up to 50% of means, required for new tires production. The cost of retreaded tire is lower that that of a new tire. Research data shows that remolded truck tire allows to save 76 kg of oil, and a car tire- 17 kg of oil correspondingly.
Worn-out tires, as well as rubber-cord production waste are subject to burying or fire burning, resulting in negative environmental impact by withdrawing considerable land areas from agricultural use. Such dumps are also fire-dangerous, and in case of fire they exude toxic compounds of serum dioxides, carbon and nitrogen oxides.
On the assumption of importance of such issues as supply for market needs and decrease in negative environment impact Shinoremont OJSC subject to its capabilities will be able to retread all worn-out tire-covers and process waste products.
Description and use of the product
Principal products of Shinoremont OJSC are remolded truck tires and rubber-cord rolls and sheets.
Presently, the company employs both hot molding (traditional) method of tires retreading, and a non-molding (cold vulcanization) method. Combination thereof produces high production efficiency by minimization of the repairing potential at the acceptance level and high-reliability post repair resource, being increased through multiple tires restoration.
Shinoremont OJSC guarantees the life of remolded tires in compliance with Automobile tires service regulations and issues Certificates of Compliance for products made.
The guaranteed haul of remolded tires is about 30 % of haul of similar new tires.
The company remolds the following size tires: 7.50P20, 8.25P20, 9.00P20, 10.00P20, 11.00P20, 12.00P20, 12.00.20, 12.00.18, 14.00-20, 11/70P22.5.
Principal tire types being retreaded are car, bus and trolleybus tires of popular sizes produced by inland and oversea companies as well as tires of obviously different overall dimensions.
All Belarusian and Russian enterprises with motor vehicle are considered to be prospective consumers of the products.
Sale of remolded tires differs from sale of new ones. Remolded will be sold on the secondary market only.
Remolded tires are to be supplied through agreements with different terms of payment and delivery. The end-users are car and truck fleets, supply organizations, forestries, as well as private persons.
The cost of remolded worn-out radial, diagonal and metal-cord tires for trolley-buses, buses and trucks, including URAL trucks, doesn’t exceed 55% of the cost of new tires.
