To date it is the largest exhibition in Russia and CIS countries judging from the number of professional participants and visitors. The show was held in "Krokus-Expo" exhibition centre, 320 participant-companies presented their best models of buses, trucks, trailers, vans and special vehicles.

Attendance of each manufacturer and each auto component supplier underlined their business approach and status of companies.

Interest to tires from both machine manufacturers and tire consumers remain intense. What tires to choose to equip vehicles? Quality of what tire producer can be trusted?

In the context of "ComTrans-2011" BELSHINA representatives were able to answer all questions that concern consumers. Meetings with longstanding partners TZK "GAZ" LLC, KamAZ JSC, VAP VOLZHANIN CJSC and others were carried on as well as talks with prospective consumers like DAF Trucks, Ford, Iveco, TagAZ LLC, and Volvo that showed interest to cooperation.

Large-scale manufactures from Russia and abroad exhibited their products at the show. "Belarus Industrial Company" and "Lidaagroprommash" JSC presented Belarus agricultural machinery.

At the exhibition BELSHINA representatives carried on talks with producers of agro-vehicles. Representatives of Russian "Tractor LLC.", "Technotron CJSC", "Azeurotech" JSC and "Velikoluksky engineering plant" JSC showed interest in Belarus tires and in establishing of cooperation.

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of India, Mr. Manoj Kumar Bharti visited BELSHINA JSC not long ago. Subsequent to the talks, the parties decided to maintain export of Belarus and India products on mutually beneficial conditions. Both parties are interested in cooperation when it is considered that Belarusian-made tires have been delivered to the Indian market since 2005. The offer to establish business relationships with Indian companies to supply natural rubber to the Republic of Belarus was expressed during the talks.

Increase in bilateral supply is another step towards each other in India and Belarus.

BELSHINA JSC presents a extensive line of tires for mining trucks depending on carrying capacity. Today they are 22 models that are delivered to PO "MAZ" for original equipment and to Caterpillar, Kamatsu, Terex and others as replacement.

At present the company experts study the feasibility of a large-scale project to create a production of all-steel radial tires 57" and 63". Development of such tires demands from the company specialists a new approach to work, study of technical process, development of new rubber compounds, tire designs and tire molds.

Our customers around the world are both large and small mining companies, which our experts advise on the technical maintenance of tires. We are always ready to discuss any issue and reach a win-win decision with our partners.

Producers of tyres and raw materials from East and South-East Asia were participating at the Exhibition. Representatives of Belshina had meetings with suppliers of raw material components and tyre producers for discussion of tyre business issues. It has to be noted that such big companies like Zavko and Tire Group International Inc. expressed their interest in buying Belshina tyres for the Indian tyre market.

Today there is a huge interest in tyre industry towards business opportunities in India, as South Asia is a promising market, where our tyres could take up their niche and we should work hard in this direction and make everything for our products to be known and available for the customers.

During the year of 2011 Belshina continues to realize the investment project for technical modernization of the PC tyre production line at the Car & Truck Tyre Plant. Partial delivery, installation and commissioning of the machinery started in the 4th quarter of 2010. And on June 30th this year the first tyre line was launched and the second line is to be finished soon out of four lines planned by the project. The world leading producers from Germany, Slovakia, Italy, Netherlands and France are supplying the machinery for Belshina.

The new technologies will allow not only increase production output, but expand the assortment of produced products and significantly improve quality of tyres.

Belshina JSC took the 12th place in the 1st quarter of 2011 among the most profitable Open Joint Stock Companies in the Republic of Belarus.

Nikolai Vladimirovich Chirun was born on July 7, 1955 at the village of Pobokovichi, Bobruisk region, Mogilev province. Graduated from the Belarus State Economic University with a diploma of "Economy and Company Management".

Started his labour activity at Bobruisk Civil Construction Administration No. 82. In 1976 he joined the Belarus Tyre Industrial Complex, later on Belshina, where he worked as a tyre assembler, then he was promoted as a shift foreman at the mill room, senior dispatcher of production department, deputy director for production of Industrial Tyre Plant. Since 2005 till present appointment took a position of Deputy Director General for Production.

In December 2009 N.V.Chirun was rewarded with a medal "For Labour Merits" by decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus.

New passenger car tyre 215/55R16 model Bel-203 was designed with consideration of city driving peculiarities, as well as long distance travel.

The tyre is maneuver and strong and is able to endure impacts with road curbs. The tyre has a directional highway tread pattern with bow-shaped longitudinal grooves from the center towards the edge of cap tread with a "herringbone" pattern. This pattern ensures intensive water removal from the road contact area during rain, has improved traction properties and reduces risk of aquaplaning.

This tyre is designed for a maximum speed 210 km/h.

Belshina JSC together with the Ukranian Trading House (Chernigov) participated at the 19th International Exhibition – "Avtosalon SIA-2011" which was held in Kiev on May 25-29, 2011. This year the exhibitors presented almost 500 companies from above 20 countries of the world. They exhibited cars, sport and special cars, spare parts, accessories, tyres and service equipment.

Representatives of Ukranian companies dealing with sale of tyres and accessories visited the Exhibition: OOO "TPK Omega-Avtopostavka", OOO "Technooptorg", "Terex" and many others, who had meetings with Belshina representatives and discussed issues of tyre supply to the market of Ukrain.

Tyre brands were presented by Continental and Hankook, Ukranian tyre company "TEREX" exhibited tyres from China. Belshina presented tyres for cars and trucks as samples of manufactured products.
